In June, a Maharashtra industrialist lost his life in a tragic accident despite being inside a ₹1.5 crore SUV.

The family was returning from Mumbai to Nashik when this accident occurred.

There were two main reasons behind this massive accident.

– Sunil Hekre (industrialist) didn’t wear his seatbelt while traveling.
– There was waterlogging on the highway, which made the accident more severe.

That car had nine airbags, but none of them could save him.

This tragedy shows that when personal responsibility and poor infrastructure collide, the outcome can be deadly.

No matter how expensive or high-tech your vehicle is, basic safety rules like wearing a seatbelt can’t be skipped.

Road safety doesn’t begin with the car.
It begins with the choices we make.

And with better roads, we must also hold ourselves accountable.

✔ Buckle up.
✔ Slow down in uncertain conditions.
✔ Respect the road even when it looks safe.

Because technology can protect you only if you let it.

This accident is a reminder that we need to work more to make our road safe.

How can we do that?
